Monica Sood

Monica Sood is a CPA, CA who has extensive accounting and sustainability leadership experience with a number of organizations, including TD Bank Group and Deloitte. She has a deep understanding of and practical experience in sustainability and environmental strategy development, including implementation, sustainability and greenhouse gas reporting and assurance, climate change adaptation, natural capital stakeholder assessment and engagement, and implementing green bond reporting frameworks. She also has in-depth knowledge and application of sustainability measurement and reporting protocols, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), carbon measurement, and reporting protocols such as WRI Greenhouse Gas Protocol and the Natural Capital Protocol. In her current role, Monica leads the development of thought leadership and guidance to support CPAs in business, industry and government on emerging sustainability issues.
